PRODUCTIONS
Everything starts with the story.
We start with who it's coming from.
New Hollywood Productions is a creative development studio, developing original scripted television and reading for the writers, directors and producers whose authentic signal becomes the work.
SAME SOURCE, DIFFERENT FORMS
Our work
We work on original scripted television and film. The work we develop doesn't come from the person, the work IS the person. We build from what exists underneath identity. We call this narrative coherence, when essence, intention and expression become the same thing.
Stories for a world that tells us we have no power. Original scripted television and film that shows human agency operating beneath systems, ideology and belief.
For film and television writers, directors and producers with a project they've taken as far as they can on their own. We read the whole thing and tell you what it's actually about, where it loses its nerve, and why it lands now.
For companies with a slate and no development team. The draft that isn't ready, the submissions nobody's read, the adaptation nobody's worked out yet. We come in by the day, read it, and tell you what you've got.
